Your LCIS board and many Louisiana educators are headed to the ACTFL National Conference this week-end in San Diego. We plan to look for books and programs appropriate for immersion as well as sit in and present on the topic of immersion education. We will tell you all about it. In the meantime, we are progressing with our mini-conference. Tara Fortune and Mimi Met have both agreed to present and the State Department of Education, bless them, will help us to fund this statewide and national mini-conference. We are sending out more information once we get back from ACTFL.
